Join Our Team at Liberty Plants – Specialty Cut Flower Farm

Location: Trappe, PA

FARMER’S MARKET SALESPERSON

Schedule: 3-4 Saturdays per month, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM, from April through November

Additional weekday markets and pop-ups TBD

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to represent our farm at the Chestnut Hill farmer’s market. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and has a passion for fresh, locally grown flowers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and managing the market booth

• Interacting with customers, answering questions, and making sales

• Handling cash and credit card transactions using Square

• Ensuring the booth is stocked and well-presented

• Loading and unloading the van with tables, tent, plants and flowers

Requirements:

• Friendly and personable with excellent communication skills

• Previous farmers market sales or customer service experience preferred

• Knowledge of flower varieties and an appreciation for local, sustainable farming practices

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 3 hours

• Clean driving record

Compensation:

• $20 per hour
